This time I came across a Baja Racer. Price wasn't quite as good as my last, but still under $100.
All this one needs, other than a 212cc Pred, is front wheel bearings (which I already have) and a rear tire.
I've already got a motor. I just reeeaaaalllly wish someone made an adapter plate...
Not quite $79.99, but better than their current prices.
20% coupon 29553660.
Can be used on any Pred engines, or anything really.
Excludes : compressors, generators, tool storage/carts, welders, floor jacks, towable trencher.
Coupon expires today.
Is there a trick to this? All 6 bolts are so tight that the allen wrench is stripping the heads (only stripped one head, the other 5 are on the verge). Yes, i have the correct size wrench.
The nuts holding the brake caliper were just fine removing. It's just the sprocket side.
HELP...
Well, I'm going to start wrenching on the Doodlebug this weekend. So, I figured I might as well start one of these up.
Bought it for $50 on CL missing a chain.
This is how I got it:
If CL were a person, I definitely would have been given a restraining order. Seems like all mini bikes locally are still $400+ for ones in terrible condition. Found this one on CL for a measly $50.
I already have a 212 Pred for it. Just need an exhaust, rear sprocket, and adapter plate.
I may...
Wondering if some of you guys could help me determine the make/model of this bike. At the price, I'd be a fool not to pick it up. But I'd still like to know a little about it.
