not sure what a good gear ratio to shoot for is. I have a 6 horse with a 10 tooth clutch and 60 tooth sprocket and I will be adding a jackshaft but do I want to stay with 10 tooth spockets (final drive 6.00)on the jackshaft or like a 13 and 17 (4.59 final drive)...I'm not looking to set land...
What started out as a home for a 6 horse briggs that was sitting around and a frame my nephew had, has turned into a all consuming project lol
what it looked like when I drug it home to where it is today (far from riding)and yes it is in my living room :smile:
I bought an old mini bike from my nephew and I need an axle for the back. I am not 100% sure on how to measure for it.
It is 8" between the mounting points, so I'm guessing I need a 10" axle with 1" thread...I know it is a 5/8 diameter.
I appreciate an assistance
