binding

I have an old Trail Mate that I am bringing back to life. I put new bearings in the front and rear wheels. The front spins free but the back seems like it's being squeezed by the axle bolt. Do I need a spacer between the bearings or other piece of hardware? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

hi all, i probably doing something very wrong but can not figure it out. i have an old MTD and i am trying to tighten the rear axle. as soon as it get the assembly snug, the bearings bind up and the rear wheel doesn't spin. what am i doing wrong over here?

Since I got my mini, its been throwing the chain off like crazy. When I installed the chain, it was tight, now its loose. I took another members advice and moved the engine forward some to relieve the slack. Now when I push the mini around I feel the wheel binding, and even locks up on smooth...
