I used JBweld to fill in chain rash on frame I'm hopping it will OK to powder coat over... Has anyone used JBweld fill Prior to powder coat?

I'm wondering what ideas you have about repairing a puncture in my engine crankcase. It's on the driveshaft side of a Tecumseh HS35. It's a gash that made a small puncture about the size as a #2 pencil lead. I was thinking of just mixing up some JB Weld and then puttying it on smooth. Just...
