part?

Is the part (bracket?) on the top of the engine going over the spark plug original to this engine? If so, does anyone have one to sell? See attachment

I'm putting this engine back together after water intrusion. These 2 identical pieces fell out and I have no idea what they're from. I checked te recoil, but that's intact. Please help as I'm actively putting this engine back together before my son gets home I'm less than 2 hours. Thanks...

I just got done rebuilding the carb for my HS40 and the kit seems to have come with an extra o-ring. Both needle seats have their supplied ring and copper washer but I've got one more and no idea where it goes. The only place I can think is where I've got the drill bit pointed in the photo...
