I just installed a new drum and 15 tooth pinion on my clutch ,,,16 inch tires and 72 tooth rear sprocket .
In case anyone needs the info....13 tooth and up clutch gear requires a 13 tooth and up drum from Max-Torque....The basic 12 tooth drum will NOT fit the 13 and up sprockets they sell separate ...glad I found this out before I ordered my parts!.....
It has calmed the predator a bit and now it loads the engine a bit on full throttle run up... ...instead of the "stuck in first gear" feeling my bike had....and wanting to flip you off of it...:scared:
I'm happier with how it rides now....less of that bust yer @zz feeling.....
Brother clocked me with his car tonight.... I kept up with him to near 40 (38 ish) MPH.
Sure its not as punchy out of the hole....but it still scoots my 160 lb arse along just fine....
Takeoff is ok with my weight....run up to top speed takes just a bit longer....BUT I have gained operational speeds.....I can now go 0-40 instead of 0-30 ...
So far I have over 10 hrs moving time on the bike odometer and 160 miles ridden!
Predator 212 and Azusa kit doing just fine !
