Just about done with my resto-mod 1970 Rupp Roadster with a Predator 212 motor with a Comet 30 TAV2. I was just wondering what replacement options there are for the rear brakes(with the original wheel), whether they are drums, band brakes, or a disc(preferred, if possible). I'm under the assumption the brakes that are currently on the bike are in need some heavy restoration, and I'm not really in a time and/or place to delve in to that project at the moment. I'm also open finding an alternative to the factory rear wheel, and the only reason for that is that it appears to be simpler to fit newer brake systems to newer wheels that are for sale online.
