Nice… Are you thinking snowmobile engine?

Harder to find a snowmobile engine in this area than a 350 cc or 450 cc motorcycle engine..I also want to go to dual disk brakes..We will see what I can come up with in the coming months..This will be a Resto -Mod not a Restoration.. Thanks on the nice, its got good bones..

They didn't put the Kohler's on this model. They didnt start using the kohler engines until late 73 on the RTS models, I believe the TS290 models were late 72

There should be 2 axle mounted drums underneath. You can replace them with discs.
