2-Cycle clutches?

#1
wheres a good source where i can find a clutch for a 5/8" bore shaft, that holds on with set screws, and will engage at a high enough RPM that it wont bog out on a 2-cycle engine? Specifically I would be using it on a Tecumseh powerlite snowblower engine. I tried putting a tighter spring in a Mercury clutch, but that didn't work out too well. I looked around, but all i could find was clutches for tiny goped engines online.

Check with a Arctic Cat dealer they made the Kitty Cat until 2000 thay had a 2 cycle engine but I don't know what size the crank was.

I don't know if the newer 120 cc sleds are 2 or 4 stroke.

cool cool, will check it out ;)

Ive seen many minis with 2-cycle Mcculloch, West Bend, etc on them that had clutches on them, but i just wonder where they got them from.

Try a 5/8" Comet 4-cycle clutch, they have a higher stall speed than the 4-cycle Max-Torque clutches.
Two-cycle clutches are way too pricey.
