3.5hp Tec carb setup?

Looks like a diaphram type. I have one, but it is mounted horizontally. They work fine. Some people don't like them, but I'm going to run mine til it starts giving me trouble. That side exhaust engine seems to rev a little quicker too. Mine has a very light aluminum flywheel, like the 80s pushmowers also. That may be why it revs quicker??
jeep4me,want part are you asking. if the linkage is set up right? it looks to be correct or are asking about intake design. the drop intake design has been around for about 30yrs. most of the ones i have seen have the gas tank mounted on the back of the engine. right above carb and next to the intake. the old units where rated at 3hp and the intake was more square looking and all the units that i have seen came with a diaphram carb(newer & old units).
gas tank on my bike was located in the back. but if modifly the brackets little and install it in the front.
i have couple of these engines,here is another picture with the gas tank remove.
