Aggie bike rattle can Resto

#1
My son's friend had this old Aggie bike he needed to run for a grandson.
Missing some parts..luckily I "stock" a few in the shop for these kind of no charge Resto's...
Since he was unveiling it at a birthday picnic I thought I'd give it a quick once over . I used the two-stage approach for purple, blue first then purple over the top... no time or money for Chrome so used chrome spray on the shocks and bars . El Cheapo but a lot of bang for the buck. Got the tip here on OldMiniBikes for the two-stage rattle purple paint. :) The red engine needed to be Briggs & Stratton black so another black rattle can of engine temp black and I threw on a few old decals I had around ,gave it a quick tune-up and flush out. Now she's a runner . Screenshot_2018-11-22-19-34-31.png Screenshot_2018-11-22-19-34-47.png Screenshot_2018-11-22-19-37-56.png Screenshot_2018-11-22-19-38-47.png Now everyone wants one. Put an adult or a kid on a minibike , Screenshot_2018-11-22-19-34-20.png I guarantee Miles of Smiles when they come back . That's why I do this stuff . phxMark

Nice job!
I have a narrow and a wide frame Aggie that i need to get done?
The blue looked pretty good by it self what brand of paint did you use?
I always use Dupli-Color. They have it at Lowe's, AutoZone, O'Reilly's Auto Parts period pretty common and lots of good colors. PhxMark Screenshot_2018-11-25-15-54-54.png

shes a rider. bring it back to life and having fun with it...…..:scooter:
The little fellow has run the wheels off of it since they got it. I've been told he rides it everyday. I'm very pleased to get the youngsters in the minibike hobby.. not sure why but the site seems to be double posting pics today. I put this one up because you can kind of see the homemade "haha header" exhaust.
