Hi gents. I have looked at just about any photo I can find of old Tote Gote 780 types with their worm gear drive. It has always fascinated me. I note these are fairly light weight looking and have no idea how they hold up. Has anyone ever fabbed up something like it?
Itcomes to mind to use parts from a smaller shaft drive motorcycle but price, engineering and adapting it to smallish cycle could bring a lot of issues. Am I overlooking something obvious or is the kind of idea that simply has no practical way of being implemented? Thanks. BTW, this has to be one of the coolest sites around.
