My lastest find on facebook marketplace. Came with all the tav parts. No use for the motor missing flywheel and shroud and the crank is broke at the flywheel nut.

Love them, I have a 5000TT. I put a hs50 in mine and once going it is a great driver, just starting out it tends to want to wheelie over.

That is nice...:thumbsup: I can't say that I've ever seen an original one.

My vote would be to just clean it up, savoring the patina...and taking care of the decals. Find 'ya a motor like it originally had, get it all working together again, and call it a day...

Had mine from new and it had a hs35. With the 20 series converter. Motor was run hard for 25 years and was plain wore out.

Got a h35 from my neighbor just to putt around on it. Will put a little 12v battery on it to run the light when i put the light back on. Still working on the tav the front pulley works great just cant get the rear pulley to go smaller. Gotta move the gas line and put on the exhaust pipe piece
