gee, i dont know what it goes on factory but a quick visit to the local rubber supply (which usually stock many brass fittings as well) would put that on my tec! i like sediment trap/ filters. my old '74 xl350 (creampie bike!) had one but the bowl was metal.
they fit any briggs engine with the up draft carb. It can adapt to fit a tecumseh, these filters are nice if you have a tank with some rust in side because these filters are easy to clean.
