#1
I have just bought mey first minibike , i am 16 and I love it. It is a baja warrior with a 196cc homelite motor. I need more speed , what modifications can I do without spending loads of money. I really appreciate all the help i can get.

Thanks Will

tubdaddy, best thing you could do is add a torque converter. it will give you better lowend and also top end:thumbsup:
you will have to purchase a torque converter with a metal backing plate. new aluminum unit's may not work on your bike? here's more info on how to install it.

Buying a TAV doesn't make you any faster. It does provide you with a better launch from a dead stand still.

But for the price of it. I would rather buy a header, carb and intake deal. This way you will actually have more power. Removing the governor is free.
