I have been looking for a Murray Trac 2 for a while. This week on craigslist there were three at the same time, go figure.:doah: $350, $250, and $150.
Jumped on the $150, story was the carb is messed up, wouldn't run. Tank smells like crap, oil black, chain way loose, and the 3.5 tec doesn't seem to have much compression, pulls like the plug is out of it. But the good stuff is all there, brake, throttle, key, tires good to great and it is not too banged up. I am going to fool with for a bit and see if I can get it running. Got a new clone in the box if all else fails and a torc a verter. Anybody know if this is pretty normal on the easy pull Tec off hand, or do yours pull pretty hard?. Also if anybody knows how to get all these freaking decals off without damaging the paint too much let me know OK?
