Brake Grip

Is the brake grip on the DB glued or fastened by a hidden set screw? I've searched for answers and can't find any. I'm trying to paint the front end and want to remove the brake lever, but I can't unless I remove the grip. I guess I'm going to have to use as my mom would say "elbow grease" to get it off? Thanks

you're talking about the actual grip right? I assume you mean the left side dummy grip. Do you have an air compressor and a pointed nozzle attachment? If so, you can lift up the grip and slide that unerneath and give it a few shots of air while pulling on it. If you dont have that, try some WD40, same manner, lift up the grip and slide the red tube applicator underneath and shoot a little of that in there, then start twisting back and forth till it's breaks free and slides off.
