I got this copper 3hp engine a couple days ago.. I did slack off a bunch but finally got it finished. good thing the real easy to go through and clean up. This one will most likely set on a shelf as I don‘t really know what to do with it... What do you spray on them before you blast them? Or is there soap in your pressure washer?
They all seem to look great after you paint them.
Just water from the pressure washer for the block. The tins get wire wheeled and then a trip through the dishwa... ummm I mean washed in a soapy water tub outside. The tins are definitely harder to get straight then the block. I have an 8hp Briggs engine on a shelf in the back of the garage I’m gonna start cleaning up next.

Nice head bolts

Seems a shame not to give that engine something to do tho
I was on my way to get it for $20 and thought it had a raptor starter nut on it and didn’t see a governor rod so I thought for sure i was buying a $20 raptor engine.. Gutted when I got my hands on it and saw it was a tiny 3hp and not a 5hp at all.. There just so gutless I don’t think there’s much I can do with it. It does however display super well.
