Broncco Eagle decals

I’m restoring a Broncco Eagle. Does anyone have a set of tank decals or some good pictures so I could have them made.

at some point i will do a Broncco Renegade tank decal. i know it's not the same, but better than nothing...

With some good reference measurements the decals could be recreated. That eagle decal looks really familiar. But I can't place where else I've seen something similar.

Have you contacted the seller "peeweepinstriping" on the bay? He already has some Broncco decals in inventory, not the ones you're looking for however...

Peewee has great decals. This bronco decal looks to be the right proportions. Just would need some minor modifications to make it be correct for the Eagle.

Peewee has great decals and I have used them on my Diablo and Warrior. The size and proportions of the Broncco decal is the same . I am trying to get a good picture of the colors of the Broncco letters and a better picture of the Eagle decal. I do have the Eagle decal that came off but it was painted over, can use it for sizing.

I purchased a set of the ones you have pictured to use for now, the tank looks to plain without anything.

You should definitely put up the original eagle decal with dimensions. It would be very helpful in its recreation. If you rub it very gently with some mineral spirits it might take enough of the paint of to reveal some of the image. Even if it is faint it would be useful.

I'll have to see of I can take the image into a image editing software. Maybe playing around with the levels of contrast, hues, or something can make it more clear.

I installed the red and black decals. I think they look good but if I can get the original ones made I would put those on. I still have to put on the number plates on and go over the bike and tighten and adjust everything.

Looks good. The bike turned out nicely. Is PeeWee working on the correct decals for you?

Yes, I'm working on them for him... I just need a better image of that Eagle, as of now we have nothing to go by... Any help locating a decent Eagle woul be much appreciated! (thanks for the kind words guys)

Spent a little time goofing around with the image of the decal in a photo editing software. Got a little more of the eagle to show itself. This might sound silly at first, but try seeing what the decal looks like under a black light. The left behind traces of the original ink may show themselves better. If I can get more time I'll try to get a rough outline, or at least what I imagine it to be. With how faint the image is there would be some artist interpretation. But this at least gives a better glimpse than before.

I did get a better picture playing around with the light and flash. I sent it to Peewee. Peewee made a nice Version , it’s not exact but it’s very nice.

Oh wow, that is actually way more visible than I anticipated. I'd really like to see it that under a black light. I bet the eagle would just pop.

Goofed around with the decal image a little more and got a half decent outline using a little high tech and a little low tech. I really think the decal under a black light would make the remaining ink pop out and more clearly show the decal in its entirety, kind of like invisible ink. Obviously this is a work in progress and there are still a lot of blanks.

PeeWee is the real deal. He has done some custom decal work for me years ago that was outstanding and reasonably priced. Glad to hear that he is still around- we are fortunate to have him for these services.

That's a perfect reference. That should get you exactly what you are looking for on the decal. @creia yep pee wee makes great decals.

Thanks for the compliments guys.. It was a long road to get these made up (Helicopter mechanic by day, pinstriper/sign maker by night LOL!). Chris was very patient but I believe the end result turned out nice. He should be getting them any minute now according to the tracking... I'll let him post up pictures after he installs them.. Thanks again for the kind words..
