Can we verify that this is a "Bulldog" 3 Wheeler?

HI Gang

I just scored this one off of eBay.
It was advertised as a MW T555…. but, it's not.
Sorry about the bad quality….

Looks to be a "BullDog" of 70s vintage with a fairly big
Tecumseh in it.

Anyone know more about it? I saw a couple of Bulldogs
on the internet that had shorty fiberglass bodies, too. Wondering if they
were optional. Still has the light, kill switch on it.
Anyone know about the drive system? Looks like a belt on it in the pic.
Does this thing have a diff in it, or…?

Hoping to get it home in the next day or two & post some more pics.

OK,

pics coming soon, but a positive ID on this thing since I picked it up.
Looks like we were all right!
It's a MW model ZCQ-13995B …… just like tis one posted about 6 years ago!

http://www.oldminibikes.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/13988-1975-montgomery-ward-3-wheeler.html

Really confusing is the change in frame design. The model # ZCQ-13995A is the "curved frame" version that apparently
morphed into the T555 at some point. THis is the one that was touted to "breakdown" into 3 pieces for transport.

Cestad (thanks SimpleTom) was the manufacturer for MW for these, hence the reference to the "Bulldog" name.

It's a Tecumseh HM80 with lighting coil, Comet torque converter & a differential on the final drive axle.
Mine has the original Carlisle 21x12-8 "Made in USA" tires!

One is beyond repair but the others still hold air.

The machine has not been cut up or modified, although someone thoughtfully bent up the choke
mechanism with a screw driver. It has band brakes on both sides of the drive axle; and they work!
The original seat is on it, but a mouse chewed a 2 inch hole in it…….
Mice packed the motor housing so tight with debris that it forced the plug wire from the coil to
make contact with the flywheel and severed it.
At that point it must have been rolled into the barn
and now here it is! I have removed the flywheel and started to clean it all up.
The story I got was that it was on a farm where the farmer used it to check his fields out; so maybe that's
why there's no evidence of kids cutting or tearing it up.!

Ordered one new tire to at least get it rolling again………($80 a piece for Carlisle 22x12-8s!!) They don't list
a 21" anymore.

So, I'm marking this one as solved…Thanks guys! I'll post another thread for the restoration.

Mine was exactly like this one but factory Briggs n Stratton 5 hp centrifugal clutch hold opposite brake could ride on 2 wheels I had to have my axle remachined. I miss greatly
