Picked up a carter mini monster and going to restore it. Started off building a 212 predator for it, originally had 6.5 Tecumseh but couldn't find parts for it. Anyway I'm sand blasting frame to paint and powder coating wheels and all other bare parts. First question is has anyone put disc brake setup on one of these before?? I don't really trust the band brakes on it, very heavy and hopefully it is going to be pretty fast. Thanks for any advice and I'm sure I will have several more questions soon.
