Interesting that you leveled your Predator 212cc. I have a Predator 212cc powered Rupp Roadster 2 and the engine runs great while tilted on the Rupp. I needed to make a custom intake manifold.

As far as cutting the frame to fit a torque converter, the jackshaft spot origenaly had a torque converter so you shoulden't need to do any cutting, just install a new jackshaft with a driven on it. It will probably have to be a comet 20 serese (simetrical belt) torque converter or a nock off to fit. As far as belt length, a website called Go Kart Supply as lots of options of belts with center to center distances listed.
