Gentleman, just picked this one up. Any ideas as to what it is?

Well thats one of those that can be hard to pin down what it was actually badged as, it was a Tiawanese import that a few american outfits distributed and badged as their own. Scat cat- small engine distributors is one that sold them, in this brochure the closest is the "sassy" but as you can see it has angled forward bars, which are actualy removable, where yours is not.

gran prix was also another name/company, and I want to say they were just called "standard" through them.

they were imported to Australia as well and sold through Deltek

Thanks guys, looks like it could go either way.

Although I'm inclined to go with "Small Engine Distributors" since that address is just west of downtown KCMO, and to this day Scat Cats are still pretty common round these parts.

I agree with Markus it looks like the "Sassy Cat" with different handlebars..

its not the demon because the rear bars are vertical not slanted. does it look like someone has cut and rewelded the handlebars?

All them drill holes look like it has had multiple handle bars. I think sassy and dasher are the same bike on different paper.
