Man that green bike is COOL! I look at it everytime I'm on here. Any others like it coming up? I saw that frame that looked similar it here the other day but it's too ambitious for my talents.:biggrin:

Thank you for the compliment on the Wilder Goose..... The bike is now owned by Jeep4me...or at least it was LOL....

I have several projects in the works, too many actually.... I have another goose in the works with a fat rear tire, widened frame...it will run a modified 5hp Briggs.... Then I have 3 Bonanzas, a wild Cat 500, my son's Manco (Bad Apple) project which I do have a build thread started on that....

I have a real nice Ruttman Wild Goose frame and forks I'm thinking of selling... The frame is straight, no cracks or breaks, I put a new engine plate on it because someone drilled extra holes in the original plate, I also put a new left rear axle plate on it due to many years of probably kids riding it and the chain coming off wore it pretty thin.....The forks are as straight as you will find....Frame and forks are blasted.... A good coat of primer, a little spot putty here and there if someone wants to get finicky with it and paint it..

It's hanging on my garage wall like the piece of artwork that it is and I have a smile you couldn't scrub off with Ajax. My only regret is my lack of talent to produce like quality. My kids are fighting for it in the will! I will park it out front on sunny days to make all the neighborhood kids jealous and enjoy it as inspiration to be that KOOL the rest of the time! A very long story accompanies my desire to own it but another thread another day over beers with those my age who can appreciate the desire to hang onto their youth! Oh, and it AIN'T goin anywhere else!:biggrin:

The Wilder Goose is now owned by Tubbugs. He was like a kid in a candy shop when he picked it up.
LOL the Hilltopper is gone as well, it went south last saturday to Toomanytoys...Didn't really want to part with it but I have too many pokers in the fire and it deserved to get finished...The engine was turning out great....should run like a top now...

LOL good to hear that it was what you wanted...I had a lot of fun building it....The building and showing it gives me much more enjoyment than riding them..... The next one will be "Super Goose".....a little wilder than the last......Not sure where that will take precidence with my
Pro Street Horse....the purists will hate me for that one....

Gotta let me know how she performs when you get a chance to take it out....
