fuel and air mixture

what should the fuel jet like how many turns for my 6hp briggs and what should the air jet be at in turns ?

Listen to what wolfgang123 has to say.

That's one of the main reasons tillotson carbs don't work perfect for karters. They all ways say 1.5 turns on the high and a 3/4 turn on the high.

The only way for you to be satisfied is if you just simply test and tune it a little at a time.

I start out at 1 1/2 to 2 turns. That usually gets the engine started. It is then just a matter of fine tuning.

Maybe, but can't you see Denver from the midwest? :wink:

There is a way to read low-usage sparkplugs where you look for a colored deposit ring down at the bottom of the ceramic. Unfortunately it's easiest to cut the plug open for each reading, so it's not cheap.
