Gas tank relocating

Hello everyone I have a question I have to relocate my gas tank cause I'm putting a torque converter on my predator doodlebug I'm plan to put the tank either up in front of the seat or behind the seat both locations are higher than the motor will I have to get a fuel/pulse pump or can I just let it stay gravity fed thanks for any information

As long as the lowest point of the fuel tank (bottom) is higher than the fuel inlet port on your carburetor, you don't need a pump. Gravity and your float will meter the fuel flow.

I'm not a big fan on rear mounted tanks..it gets really bumpy back there and you can't keep your eye on it.. imo

Thanks for the info I didn't think I needed a pulse pump. Raskin I'm thinking like you I did a mock up if the tank behind the seat and I don't like it there like you said I can't keep a eye on it

Ya know gas burns without ignition on skin..especially tender areas..:laugh:
