Gas tank valve threads

What is good to use on the threads of the shut off valve on bottom of gas tank? Was going to try pipe thread tape, pipe dope or silicone but wasn't sure if these were affected by gas so figured I better ask here first?

I'd use Pipe Dope 1st then wrap it with Teflon Tape. If you don't have any Pipe Dope, Teflon Tape will do the trick w/o issue.
