governor problem

Well i removed the governor on my 6.5 powersport and now when i go to start it the pullstart will lock up. but only at certain times. can this be caused by timing. i may have put the cam back in wrong if so could someone provide me a pic of the correct cam to crank lineup

Did you refill the oil? Is it seized?

yes i refilled the oil and what do u mean by seized? Every thing moves freely in the motor but when i go to pull the pull start it will cacth and jerk back really hard

Timing marks MUST line up.
One on camshaft, one on crankshaft.
Check flywheel key for shearing.

thank you i think i fugureed it out. i remove the msall weight on the cam by accidident disabling the automatic copression realease making it easier to start. sorry about the post i just read a few threads down and this seemed like my problem. im going to try it as soon as i get home.
