H35 Con Rod

#4
What is the max rpm the stock rod will handle? I was planning on doing a mild hop up, milled head, advanced timing, mild porting, header, and shimming the valve springs. I don't plan on drag racing the bike, just parking lot squirts.
get an hs50 more stock poser and some hop ups available

If your motor is fresh with new rod and the cam remains stock, The stock Tecumseh rod should be fine. Your not going to get much more than 5000 RPM out of it with the stock cam and valve springs. I run my HS50 that way and have had no problems and I run a after market Carburetor. You should not keep the engine at full RPM for any length of time will riding the bike, and do not sit and rev the engine with no load on it.
