I tried to follow the the Hydraulic disc brake upgrade that a few guy's mentioned they did but kept getting stumped ! A few guy's used the Hayne 9 Mnt.bike set-up said "thiers just bolted up " ! I guess I just don't have that kinda luck !
The issuse I ran into where ;
The Caliper was to thick,which wouldn't clear the tire .
The rotor was just slightly to wide to fit in the caliper.
so everything had to move !:hack::grind::weld:
First I had to off set the rotor for caliper clearance of the tire .I used grade 8 nuts as my spacers.
Then I removed a small layer of brake pad by sanding. To allow for the rotor to slide into the caliper .
Finally I removed the caliper bracket and relocated it to allow for the off-set of the rotor .
In other words a "simple bolt-on" turned into a reinvention of the wheel ! The rear wheel in this case !
