Hello everyone

Hello everyone! Glad I came across this site!

Just picked up an 86 Honda Z50RD and really excited about it! Always wanted one as a kid and finally found a great opportunity to pick one up

Had a question if anyone can answer it. Bike is in over all pretty food shape with a couple small dents in the tank and need new fenders but everything else is in great shape including the seat. I'm going to replace the tank and fenders but wanted to know if it is better to restore the bike or since the rest of if is pretty nice, should I leave the slight wear and tear or restore the entire thing? I want it to look nice but want to keep the value of it up too.

Thanks a lot and hope to hear your thoughts.

I have a few z's, and my advice for your particular model would be to clean and polish it up. Keep it like it is and ride it. If you want to fix up and modify to your personal taste, there are plenty of cheap z50A's and R's out there to do that with. Got pictures? Welcome.
