Hi I am new here,, so hello everyone!!!! I am a RC boat guy with a model boat prop business. But anyway I built a clone motor with a billit flywheel and rod Hi RPM cam and a set of value springs, I installed the motor on a Murray mini that I picked up on Craigs list. My problem is the motor has too much Vibration at higher RPM range Is there anything I need to check? thank you in advance

Murray Track 2 Mini Bike

Well to be honest it might be your chain to sprocket combo. I ran a Heavy modified Briggs Animal using a RLV Gold on Gold #35 chain with a #35 66 teeth Sprocket and a Torque Converter and have gotten great power. I do know this much that the frame is designed in mind to handle a top speed of 80-95 mph. This according to the Murray engineer I spoke to years ago. Just think about this Clutch , sproket , and chain. You gotta find the right marriage to get things to work. If anything give me a call at the shop and we can work something out for you.
