homelite

I have a homelite e4000 that I got running and then I broke one of the brushes. anyone know where you can get brushes I have looked on ebay and every where else. don't know if they make a one size it all are if they make a standard kit for these. I figured the guys up north might know. it has a big o briggs on it 8hp. and it was made in North Carolina Textron plant.

I've noticed a LOT of them are about the same thing.. It's kinda amazing how ya pull apart a briggs 8 horse starter, and say, that looks just like one in this 1948 DC electric motor.. :doah:

I'd say find one with the same size square and run it.. :laugh:

that's is true but these are about 2 inch long and real thin.
