how fast about??

i have a 4.5 Hp robin engin, with a nomal comet clutch, normal 8 in sproket in back and 12 tooth clutch, air filled tires.

i revomed the gov springs and replaced them with metal rods.

About how fast u think i can go.

i took it up and was beatin cars.

But how fast u guys think with this info.

Did you buy metal rod and bend it yourself?

My son and I wired the governor springs solid on our minibikes but metal rods would be better.

You need better detailed info to calculate the speed your going.

We need:
1)Motor RPM with you on broad riding it.
2)Tire circumference
3)Gearing! You said you have a 12 tooth in the front, and we need the exact tooth gear on the rear sprocket.

Here's a example!
12/60 gearing = 5.0 gearing
Your tire is a 11 x 3.50 x 5, which is around a 35.5" tire circumference
Now let's say your motor is turning 5,000 RPM with you riding it.

You are running 33.6 mph
