I just bought an 8 hp tecumseh powersport will it work?

I am rebuilding a Super Bronc VT-812 anyone know if the new Tecumseh 8 hp flathead with original clutch bracket will fit in the frame and work right?
Shaft is 1" x 2 7/8"

A VT-8 originally came with a HM80 (8hp flathead) So as long ast the clutch is a 1" bore your good to go! :thumbsup:

What about the heigth of the motor will that be any problem?

no problem but you might have to change the muffler to clear.

I've got a more modern 10 hp in on of my broncs now had orig 8
no problems with newer engine
