I'm new need help

I found this site and decided I wanted to get into Mini Bikes again. After all it was a Taco that got me started in all the motorsports I've done. I ran an ad in Craigs list and got this back. Can anyone tell me what it is and the circia?

Welcome to the site the bike you have there looks to be a fairly complete Columbia/MTD
heres a pic from the gallery

You got a hardtail model and the name for these are MTD 640-200. On with shocks is Columbia 523-2. Anyhow you have the 640-200 model I have 2 myself.

Ok guys thanks for the quick answer. I think I will get it although I don't think it's that old is it? Is it the same MTD that make's the cheapo lawn mowers?

Well if made in the 70's isn't old than I'm a spring chicken..:thumbsup: What i call real mini bikes are made no later then say mid 70's Yours was made somewhere between 1965 to 1970.. Here is some info on yours.

nice mtd mini bike , great riding bike, get it... its a kool bike..
