I am in the process of rebuilding a 1972(ish) JCPenney “Big Blue” mini bike and need some dimensions and advice from the collective.
1. Front Finder:
- How long is the original fender?
- How far from the front of the finder to where it was tack welded to the front forks?
2. Rear Fender:
- How long is the original fender?
- How far from the front (by the engine) of the fender to where the mounting bolt holes are?
3. What size are the original rims/wheels?
4. What type and size are the original tires?
5. What is the number of teeth on the original clutch?
6. What is the number of teeth on the original rear sprocket?
7. What size is the original seat? (If anyone has a lead on who would make a good replica, please let me know- Thanks)
8. How did the rear portion of the chrome chain guard attach to the left rear down tube of the frame?
9. What was the common name for the Blue paint or the paint color code?
