Introduce myself

I am an Allis Chalmers collector. Mostly the Lawn and Garden items. I bought an AC mini bike years ago, and have yet to restore it. I had known that Montgomery Ward mini bikes were the same, then I found out on this site about Gilson. There is a lot of great information here. In the AC club I am in, there is a guy that has a Mini 5, just like mine. His 5hp engine is a Lausen(sp?) Another man has a Trail 5 and he said it was a Lausen that came on it.

I recently purchased another mini bike frame, looks just like the Trail 5. There is no ID on it, not sure if it is a MW, Gilson or AC. Though it is orange under the purple.

I did find a Gilson snowblower, it still runs pretty good.

Hello... Yeah I am going to say if it is orange it was most likely the Allis Chalmers model.. If you look and compare you can see where the stickers would have been.. I would say if you can see the orange, you can probably find the stickers.. :thumbsup: I think the AC were the nicest ones.. they are all the same but I'd rather have the AC name on mine if I had one..
