Does a jack shaft give you more torque so you can climb a hill or what is the purpose? I'm trying to build a bike or kart that would climb a hill. Or will a torque converter be the answer? I'm dumb to the subject.
Will the torque converter give me the power to climb hills and are there different gear ratios on them. Can you run a shaft all the way through the pulley or does it not go all the way through?
Depends on what it's for , a Tav 2 or 30 has the driven going to a sprocket (on the unit) I have some bikes with the driven on a jack shaft but they are separate units.
