hello

I just picked up an old mini looks like a rupp cub 1968. I have kids and want to teach them some basic mechanics and how to restore an incredible little machine. I am working on inserting my mini photo for ID. Until then I am looking forward to any help I can get from the members here. I want to rebuild the 2 hp briggs and will need reference material. Thanks in advance

Be sure to check Craigslist. You can find good small motors by searching for 'Briggs', 'Trimmer', 'Mower', or 'Pump'. Many times you can buy a little motor for less than the price of a rebuild. I bought a tiller, removed the motor, then gave the remains away on CL, for much less than the cost of the motor alone. :wink:
