I've decided to sell the K & S Hornet Deluxe. I bought this from blackscorpion80, a month or so ago, as a rolling frame and had it shipped up here from Texas.
I got it up and going using as many "used" parts as I could find. The engine is a newer Tec HS50, 5hp. I replaced all the tins on the engine with old style tins. The engine runs excellent. I did install a Fairbanks-Morse torque converter and a straight pipe since these pics were taken. I will included the clutch, sprocket and clutch covers that are in the pics. I also have the original seat and V-tec driven portion of the original tav setup. Also, included is a nice used set of knobby tires with tubes (the tires that are on the bike are originals, but are pretty weather checked).
I'm not going to be able to ship this bike, but will have it at the Ann Arbor sale/show on Sunday.
Asking $500, cash, or interesting trades(day of the Ann Arbor show only).
