kt100 vs raptor

iam looking 2 cart setups one with a 2005 kt100 1 race on the whole cart for 1600 and the other has a raptor with a total of 7 races on the motor and 3 on the cart for 1400. the raptor will prolly need a rebuild huh? which one would you go with ?

whats done to the raptor it would need to be at least a limited mod to keep up with the kt still probably have a hard time running with it

well of course there in different class's here is what the class's are
14 yrs + BRIGGS MED $ 20.00 350 lbs. METHANOL
thats for the briggs
15 yrs + YAM. Sr SPORTSMAN $ 20.00 335 lbs. GAS
thats the kt100 class
iam not sure if i can run an animal in the briggs class

iam thinking of buying the kt and re selling it and then get the raptor

The KT will make the most power for a cheaper price. It will also last longer, and go longer before rebuilds.

If you are running in stock class the stock can KT will still out pull a stock class 5hp briggs.

The only advantage would be if you had to start from a dead stop, but you don't.

if i decide i wanna run outlaw class are there alot of parts for the kt ?

You really are gonna want to go with a better motor all around for outlaw class. Neither will last as long and will have to be push close to the edge to make the power you will need.
