I have just purchased a 1978 KV75. It was not running for 15 years and had the original gas from the day she was turned off, 15 years ago. I finally have her running from a gatorade bottle after cleaning the carb,fixing holes in the carb bowl and replacing the gas lines.
Now that she is running I notice that I have to slowly crank the kickstart about 3 times before it engages enough to turn her over for a start. I have the PDF of the shop manual however was wondering if someone has already completed a repair like this on the MT1 or KV75. Shortening my learning curve would be very much appreciated.
