i have the same one except mine isnt as clean. and i upgrade from the 4hp robin engine to a 5hp robin which actually made a big difference

I have that same one also. Easiest starting engine that I've ever had. Mine has about 2 hours on it. Scott.

I put this ski on my Thunderbird today, It didn't work vary well.
I think the ski may be ok but a different style back tire would work better, something wider.

haha thats great. oh and i bought a 6.5hp clone today at harbor freight for 100 bucks and I'm in the process of removing the governor.

If you're removing the governor, and while you're in there....what else are you gonna do? Scott.

hay theres one on ksl for $100 and i was looking at it but i dont have the money right now i have a duck mini bike

i hear that those harber freight engines brake alot

I understand that people are opening up these engines and finding things loose, or missing, i.e. rod bolts, valve spring retainers, etc. I don't know what to think about their reliabilty out of the box. I will pull the side cover, and valve cover, on any of these engines that I ever obtain. Everything should be looked over, and all hardware loosened, and then re-torqued. I would bet that that would cure 99% of the problems. Scott.

I have had good luck with the 3 I have, but they are stock engines right know. I,m wondering if the new style engines if the quality has went down to keep them at the low price, You hearing more bad stuff lately about them. I have a older one and two new style.
