Hello old mini bike aficionados, I'm Francis and Looking for a moto Skeeter 650 or 550 that has the rear dual shocks because my brother and I had one as kids. I would want one complete in fair condition. But at this point I have none and might not be too picky. I'm not a mechanic but I have tools and I fix all my own equipment. I'm willing to travel. I've been searching the internet regularly ( a few times a month) for the last couple of years but it seems I'm always a day late. So maybe by informing you guys of my interests, you also could keep a heads up for me and maybe I won't miss the next one. I appreciate any information in the right direction. P.S. I've been watching Clayton's moto Skeeter build And I can't wait to see it complete. I'm a little Disappointed that It won't have the original motor. But it's the only one I've seen restored to practically new condition. Excellent work. In the future I hope to have one in that mint restored Original And running condition. I Would like to restore one myself.

Thanks for the support myjunk. Nice ride! Are you showing me a picture of yours because I said that Claytons is the only one I've seen in mint restored condition? Wish there was some YouTube videos of moto skeeters running. 450s,550s,650s, you name it, I wanna hear and see those sweet two stroke Run.

Ouch!!! I didn't realize how Immaculate that thing was until I clicked on the picture. OMG.
I want to see it rippinn. Does it run? Do you ever ride it?
Why are there no moto skeeters on YouTube???

Yes I did send the picture so you know there are a few of us out there who share your love for the old Skeeter. To answer you questions, If I were clever enough I would shoot a video and post it on youtube however, I may have to have my kids do that one for me!!! Yes it does run as good as it looks, and tonight my grandaughter and I took it for a short ride. I am not sure who enjoyed it most. Let me know if I can be of any help.

I know what you mean about computer ability. If I was Officiant with a computer maybe I could figure out how to Be alerted on my phone when someone types in the word moto Skeeter anywhere on the internet. Like Craigslist or Kijiji or auctions ect... anywhere possible. So far I know of three or four that I missed recently.

Any help on where to look and how to search would be appreciated, especially being notified?? Because I don't search for Moto Skeeter everyday. But it seems if I want success I don't have much other choice. Again, maybe some pointers will help me.
