This thing needs some work but i'm not mechanic so I have LOTS of questions. First this is what I am working with!

It runs like a bat out of hell but like i said needs some love. I need a new throttle cable, ordered, needed a throttle return spring, I took the thing completely apart to clean it up paint it etc. You can see in the video the rear sprocket (??) is not precisely straight I'll be looking into either a new one if it's cheap or somehow straightening it. Chain I had to put a new one on other than that it runs...so far.
Honestly REALLY hoping to look for a local Ohioan who can be my mentor on this because literally I know Zilch about this stuff and i'm grasping.
Eaither way , how you guys doing? If you can think of any thread that can be usefull PLEASE post em! I have already checked this one out https://www.oldminibikes.com/forum/projects-and-rides/81677-2nd-db30.html and that part with the kill switch I have, I'm not sure it's that precise one but it is similar!
