finally time i posted something like this, wanted to show through what has been a huge learning experience building my motovox. I still have loads to learn but its come so far from when I first picked up the roller a couple years ago.
10/06/21 - frame acquired and test engine mocked up at my school's small engine class
10/12/21 - supplied predator 212 with the first mods (this engine did not take kindly to mods, I was still a bit inexperienced in the realm of modding at this time)
11/03/21 - long gap between pictures because i was having engine running issues, removed governor and chikuni carb on the 212

01/12/22 - billet rod, hot 265 camshaft, and the chikuni carb from my old 212 installed, it ran great

i then welded the brake bracket so i could fit a hydraulic caliper. shortly after i got the frame shipped off to where my dad works, they powder coated the frame (but i didn't prep the frame beforehand so in the future i want to redo it properly)

a week later i would be heading off for my first semester of college, probably my best and most nerve wrecking experience
after completeing the semester, i was home for a month and redid the wiring on the bike after also getting a CDI ignition kit

now that the semester is over and that I'm back for the summer, I was already planning to redo the wiring again, so the first week that is what i did

i tried my best to make it all clean and tucked away, and i think I did a pretty good job with that
i also recently bought a HF welder, which works super well

and used it to weld on some corner brackets from home depot for mounting my new gas tank

recently also inquired on the thread about how to mount a TAV without raising the engine, I had to raise it up using a couple washers to make sure the belt cleared, but it fits and rides great when i took it out today. I will keep updating this thread with more progress and pictures as I keep going through this and learning more about minibikes and how they always continue to surprise me
