If anyone knows where I can get a sprocket larger than 54 - 60 tooth with a 40 pitch, could you please forward me the information. Another sites forum told me BMI, but they only carry the 54 - 60 tooth. Any help would be great.....Vince:confused1:
Mcmaster-Carr has them with or without hub. The plate sprockets for # 40 are supplied in 40, 45, and 60 tooth. 18 to 27 bucks. you can find them at McMaster-Carr. I have found they are as cheap as anyone around. If you want more teeth you will have to go to an industrial supply outfit and order it. They will take you to the cleaners.
vbb71,also can try motion industries https://www.motionindustries.com/motion3/jsp/mi/index.jsp
they sell blank sprockets almost any size you need. you have to machine your own holes out?
you will have to go to there web site and look up locations and see if there is one close to you? if not call them and have it ups.
...............
If you don't find what you need somewhere else, I've got access to blank and finished sprockets all the way up to 80 teeth. Give me a call at 903-489-2429 and I'll see if I can make you a deal.
