Need help on getting spark!!

Is it possible to get shocked by the plug wire but still not get spark on the plug?

if the plug is bad it could be arcing inside or grounding out...Your body will feel the voltage at a lower rate than what it takes to fire the plug, are you getting zapped hard or just a tingle?

well im not getting zapped that hard and the plug is new.

all the parts are from 1969 . So I am wondering if it is points or somthing

Take off the pull cover and sand the rust off the flywheel magnets and coil. Make sure the gap is not bigger than the width of the business card. If that doesn't work than take the flywheel off and clean the points. If that doesn't work, change the condensor and points. If that doesn't work check the spark plug wire for resistance.
