I have one and I'm just down the street from you in Brecskville. You are welcome to come over anytime and take it for a spin.
FYI it IS a Carter Bros Shortster and there are NO parts available unless you buy one like you see on Craigslist. No tanks, no TQ cover, just the common stuff. That's the one big problem. Don't break anything. It's murderous fast, it will wheelie out from under you when you least expect it and it's just plain fun. The factory burnt to the ground around 1999 and I remember in my dim memory that they made about 1000 units. The bike was made for approximately a year and a half only. I paid $900 for it in 1999. It comes with a lighted coil engine and has brake lights, a disc brake on the back wheel but no electric start.
